The housing project is planned to be built on multiple parcels, with addresses including 95 North 17th Street. The development plans propose constructing approximately 213 units at the corner of North 17th Street and East St. John Street. The project is a collaboration between The Core Cos., an experienced real estate firm, and Eden Housing, known for specializing in affordable residences. The proposed 213 units will consist of 113 affordable large-family apartments, 64 apartments for seniors, and 36 for-sale townhomes offered at affordable prices. Bob Staedler, a principal executive at Silicon Valley Synergy, a land-use consultancy, hopes that this mix of development will lead to an efficient and swift implementation schedule.
